  • Mobifit is a great new fitness app that allows you to keep track of your daily exercise and quickly view a summary of the activities you have achieved throughout the week. Mobifit allows you to track your route with your phone’s built-in GPS as well as calculate important stats such as speed, distance and calories. Alternatively, you can manually enter the distance and time if you forgot to grab your phone... just to keep the stats-recording continuum alive! As soon as you're done exercising, Mobifit easily integrates with twitter to share your latest achievements with your friends. If you have any ideas that you think could make Mobifit a shining pillar of awesomeness, don’t forget to submit it at “http://getmobifit.com”, no matter how big or small. In the meantime, get fit, stay healthy and have a great time with Mobifit! **New in 1.4** - Calorie Counter - Personalize with your phone's theme color - Improvements to stats page

Main feature didn't work
This app could not maintain GPS tracking in my location. I came home from an hour of hiking and it said I had walked five feet. Apparently it couldn't connect to satellites in the woods, although another app, Outdoor Nav, works just fine. I used mobifit a few times just to calculate calories burned on the manual setting, but there wasn't much point in keeping it just for that.

The app does not allow you to view other apps on phone during operation. if my phone rings it stops automatically or if I check email the app stops. Wondering if there is a fix for this.

When the GPS signal is available, it works very well.

Love the mapping, logging functionality and awards are cute too. It pauses the workout tracking when I make a call or check messages while I run and I have lost a couple of stats because I didn't go back to mobifit and resume. That should be fixed.

This is a pretty great app, especially for the price of FREE. Looks like they're working on getting more great features integrated and are taking into account what users suggest. Can't wait to see what is to come.
