Weight4Me

Weight tracking

  • Weight4Me allows you to track your weight over time. Are you tired of losing all of your weight data whenever you upgrade phones? Do you wish your weight tracking application could automatically get data from your scale? Do you want access to your weight data from multiple applications on multiple devices? If so, Weight4Me is for you. Weight4Me connects with Microsoft® HealthVault™ to store your health information. This means that the data you enter into the application can be accessed on all of your devices with a number of applications. And, you can use certain scales to automatically upload your weight data every time you weigh yourself. Weight4Me requires you to be online for the first launch to set things up with HealthVault, but fully supports being offline after that point in time. Version 1.2 supports the following features: * Metro-style UI. * All data is stored in HealthVault. * Integrates with HealthVault compatible scales. * Shows most recent weight in pounds. Click the reading to show all of your weight measurements over time. * Shows daily, weekly and monthly trends. Click on the trend to see a graph by day/week/month. Use your finger to pan the graph. * High and low weights * Displays graph of weight over time * Supports zooming and panning * Touch and hold to display measurement values Version 1.2 adds the new Metro-style UI, the list of raw weight measurements, and the daily/weekly/monthly trend graphs. Version 1.1 adds offline support, smarter syncing off data from HealthVault, fixes the 240 point limit, and improves the graphing. See http://weight4.me for more information and future plans.

Con: required data/wifi to use, and required MS Health Vault Pro: good design Suggestion: make an app like this but without needing MS Health Vault and data connection to use. Perhaps store data on phone, and have option to sync with Health Vault when user want to. In short I just want a simple app to keep track of my weight over time.

weight 4 me is a great app. I've been looking for a simple, dedicated weight loss tracking app, since leaving the iPhone. You really only have 3 main options: 1 enter weight, 2 view graph of historical weight changes, and 3 add more users who have access to the weight4me data on Microsoft health vault. Con: in this release I have not found a way to modify existing weight or ways to log weight from a previous day. This is rather annoying if you forgot to log a day. Only one graph view is presented. In light of the cons, this is a simple no hassle way to get your weight logged and to see those changes! This is a much better solution than using the clunky interfaces of the wp7 nutrition apps livestrong, myfitenesspal, etc. Use this as a companion app to your calorie tracking apps.

Nice, easy, clean app, except for the ads. Would gladly pay to remove ads.

Works great. I really like the Healthvault integration. Would love to see it gain ability to add more data to Healthvault ... eg blood pressure, body fat and so on. But as is, this app is very worthwhile.

Finally, this app works offline. Setting up a Health Vault account can be annoying, but very helpful when changing phone. I didn't loose my weight record from my old phone.
