  • Developed by David Petrla Chromatic instrument tuner, which combines two classical pitch tuning methods: Needle and stroboscope. The needle enables fast and comfortable rough tuning, while two optional stroboscopic animations facilitate fine tuning. Both methods are used at the same time, so it’s not necessary to choose one of them. Detected notes are shown on a musical staff. Adjustable sensitivity will help in not so quiet environments. This is Beta! Final version with many improvements will be available soon! Update 1.1: Works on Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) and supports fast app switching. More info: http://www.accuratetuner.com

This app is really terrible. I tried tuning it for my guitar. & literally did not help at all. If anything it made it worse. Do not get this app. It's not even worth 50seconds of download. Piece. Of. ***.

As a music major in college, I approve! I love how it shows what note you are playing in the staff. None of my tuners ever do that! I play flute and play all sorts of harmonic notes by over blowing another note on it all the time. It's fun to watch it freak out then settle on the correct tone. If a simple metronome was included or you made a fun one that can run well under lock screen, I wouldn't need to carry around my tuner/metronome combo anymore, it'd already be on my phone! Keep up the awesome! Used on HTC HD7.

Very nice. It works very well, can get quite sensitive, and is very accurate. Only thing is the tile; it doesn't look as good as most of my other app tiles.

Great little app. Very easy to use and intuitive. Im not sure about accuracy since I don't have a tuner to contact are it to, but to my ears, it sounds accurate.

Very slow reacting and flaky. Really hard to reliably tune the guitar since its all over the place for the same note

Doesn't always pick up the notes very well and I question its ability to accurately aid in guitar tuning. But overall this is a helpful tool when a reliable tuner isn't available. I just wouldn't trust this to be my main tuner.
