app is a piece of garbage. i downloaded it twice paying 5.99 for it to randomly stop working and now i cant even open the app. not to mention i tried to contact support and they failed to even respond to me and its been 4 weeks. DONT BOTHER PAYING FOR IT!

If it doesn't recognize a song its usually because u have a *** connection.but in my opinion its the best app ever made

Mostly fast at catching a song.. Sometimes obnoxiously clueless even when the music is clear. I just wish shazam can save the music we're trying to searched so we can find out what it is when we do have service.

It gets most of the songs I give it but it takes forever to open up so sometimes by the time I open it, the song is over.

(HTC Mozart) When comparing this app to the Bing music listening app from the "Mango" update, Shazam Encore is certainly the choice for customers. In my situation, I listen to DJ mix sessions on iHeart Radio, where songs are on the air for maybe half the time of the original content. I hear a song I like, I open the Shazam Encore app, press "tag", and within less than 10-15 seconds of the time I start the process, it picks it up. Fast, accurate, reliable, and essential. Until Bing music app upgrades to the level that Shazam Encore is at, then this is a must have.

No lyrics... I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! First I pay and then i get no lyrics, ohh, but i cant try it, its your tricky part huh?? What the **** is this... I gad a better expectation about shazam for such a high price....... Piece of nothing I have switched to SoundHound, has a wonderful functionality, 1000 times better than this and Did not have to spend money on it, and I wouldn't care if they charge me because I have what i need, offline mode, lyrics search, and facebook share, this shazam has nothing. DO NOT BUY, look first soundhound and then think about it

Don't waste your $$$... Thank goodness I paid for this pre-Mango and used it then. I reinstalled expecting to see the cool lyric functionality that is on the iPhone, but these developers obviously love Apple only and are non-responsive to non-Apple customers. That's poor customer service, but no surprise there.

Really good. Recognize many songs even obscure ones. Wish the link to buy or download would always work. Other than that an amazing app.

Free version has more features, including LiveTile/Tag now. This version doesn't. Also, lyrics don't work for 99% of songs. Rubbish. Kicker: app isn't mango-ready (no fast app switching).

No lyrics? Yeah, a little upset I paid for a feature that isn't there...Mango does the basic music search, so really the best feature I paid for is the fact that it keeps track of recent searches.

The product work great but the "get a Zune pass" option takes you to a blank screen.....also, I agree with the YouTube link problem.

Two months later and no issue resolution. - Unacceptable performance compared to app on iPhone (which I owned). Takes too long to load. No way to login to my account. No discover tab. The information available on my tags is severely limited. And, I paid for this?

Its good but is a little slow to start-up. Also lacks some of the awesome features found in SoundHound like offline mode, geo tagging of location when listened to, lyrics link for tagged songs, and more.

Same premium app. New premium price. Is it worth the upgrade? Well just ask yourself how you'll feel without it when "that song" comes on and you don't have this.
