A-to-B Navigator
- A-to-B is a Turn-by-Turn application built to demonstrate some of the capabilities of the ArcGIS API for Windows Phone. Warning: The application is meant for demonstration purposes only! Do not rely solely on the suggested routes or instructions given by this application. Features: - Turn-by-turn routing. Sound notification when a turn is coming up. - Add often used destinations as favorites. - List of recent destinations. - "3D view" when in navigation mode with easy accessible "zoom in/out" buttons. - 2D Map for browsing the map supporting pinching, panning etc, and pick new destination by tapping the map. - Easy accessible "Recalculate" button if you go off the route and need a new route from your current location. - Routes and adresses all over US and parts of Europe (detail may wary). - Worldwide map (detail may vary).

Hey guys - will you ever bring a to b back to the windows phone marketplace? even with bing's directions features in mango and the many navigation apps that have appeared over the last few months, a to b is still the best navigation app for windows phone.
if not, at least want to thank you for making this app. until mango, this allows people on a budget like me to have amazing navigation capabilities on my phone for free. excellent app guys, and if it's not coming back, im certainly sad to see it go.

Very slow and very basic. Annoyingly, and in my opinion, unusably basic. But hey it's fine for free demo app.
Crazy good, why this one is not the official nav app
Was working fine until today when it lead me to the wrong location
Bad app. Very slow, doesnt load well, and worst of all, if wont take ANY address I give it. In other words, this app is useless!

I really like this app it works very well on my HTC surround. Only thing I dont understand is why it says " for demo purposes only"
From all the ones out there for free this one is pretty good. I think ppl are forgetting it's a demo app. I gave it four star assuming it is still under development

"For demo purposes only"? I think not! Simple but perfectly usable navigaton app. Warns when a waypoint approaches by a soft sound. You may want to watch data usage when used extensively ;)
Update crashes must get fixed!!!! Reinstall and been working fine since.
Don't bother with this app. It DOES NOT work.
The map graphics don't populate in real time, so it displayed a route over a gray graph...

Actually not bad at all. Bit rough around the edges but hey its free. Map is a bit outdated. Lack of text to speech is no big deal. Best out there for this platform for now

Pretty good navigation, very accurate and extremely helpful. With future updates I expect it to get even better. :-)

Keeps crashing. Practically unusable until it's updated
Even with my Focus plugged in this program drained the battery and made the phone hot. Good for short trips but not across state/country.
Other than not being able to search by name its awesome. Works great on my hd7.
I know that this is a demo. This is really great though. Please work on it more and get it to a non demo stage as well. I would love to see voice prompts added at the very least. This is an app that I would pay money for, and its free.
Works nicely on my HD7! Used it in my car today worked perfect while I was play music on the phone. There no voice but you here a bell noise when its time to make a turn or take an exit. It would be 5 stars if it could auto recalculate the route...but there is a manual recalculate icon on screen. Also if you could search for locations by name i.e. (Wal-Mart, Target, Gamestop) it would be nice but my work around is I search for the address first in the bing search, then copy past the address in the Find Address field but with a few updates this app will be # 1
Nearly perfect turn-by-turn nav. Route recalculation, voice prompts, and ability to search address would make it better. Nonetheless it is a great app that fills a gap in wp7 and makes it more usable for driving route guidance. Love the time to destination, speed, etc. on left of display.

App holds great promise and "would" be first choice of navigational app, however, last version broke it. I get nothing but a null exception error on launch then it shuts back down. Email to developer right after release has been ignored (2.5 mos ago). Samsung Focus, WM7.

Maps don't load for me
The maps don't load for me, and it is very slow. The concept is good though, and I love that it is free. With a few bug fixes this could be a very good app.
A bit finicky to fund places, weird spelling of Danish place names (blame it on æ, ø and å). :-D

I really miss the voice and TBT navigation with Bing on my 6.1 phone. This is a good start toward something like that. Add a voice and I'd give it 5 stars.
Alot of potential to be the perfect windows phone GPS app. Just add turn by turn voice nav and course correction/re routing and you have 5 stars cuz 6 isn't an option. Keep the development going guys. Can't wait to see the next update
