QRCode Reader
Decode QR Barcodes
- Version 1.3 supports copy and paste, error reporting. QRCode Reader is a mobile QR Code scanner app that allows for fast and quick reading and decoding of these barcode from your phone. Use QRCodes to access web links, add contacts, send email and SMS, and much more! Supports on board camera and picture library (for images already taken or saved from web pages.) The recognition system in use here is always improving reliability and accuracy. Recognition hints: - Get up and close to the code - Be sure to wait for the camera to focus - Hold the camera steady -- blurry images are hard to decipher - Turn the flash off, or reduce glare -- glossy business cards are especially prone to white spots from the flash - Try to take the photo straight on - If you camera supports macro mode, you may wish to try those for close-up Known issues: - The amount of control the camera provides developers does not allow us to control focus, flash, or other aspects of the camera.

Works ok. I love my windows phone
Doesn't work
Love it, used htc7
A little touchy but works
It took a couple re-takes to get it to finally scan the image, but it worked. WP7 sucks that it has to take a picture instead of scanning the QR code. I hate this phone and sprint for being out of the android i wanted.
Doesn't worth the download...
In almost all the cases it didn't work.
Won't update
I LOVE QR CODE READER. THANK YOU.
Awful. Most results are gibberish.
Identical to the ms tag reader ***.
Didn't work with many attempts at various distances and light sources from my HD7. I'd pass this up.
No stars at all. I've taken dozens of perfectly sharp
Seems to work nicely
I have been waiting for a dedicated QR code reader for some time. This does the trick. I had a little problem reading 1000X1000 pixel saved images, but if I made them 240X240 it read just fine. Also, in camera mode it seemed to work better if the picture was taken about a foot away instead of trying to fill the screen with the image. So far though it has read all the QR codes that I have tried. Only thing to make it better would be auto scan but Microsoft has to open up the camer for that.
Took a bit to find out you need to get a bit of distance (6-12 in) for it to work flawlessly. Has gotten every QR code. Buying it to support a good app.
Everyone has to remember, your phones take high quality high resolution pictures, if its too close, its too big for the algorithm to handle recognition.
I also love how the app draws what it's doing to read the code. Nice touch.
