TwitPic
Share pictures on Twitter
- TwitPic allows you to easily share pictures with the world through Twitter. This app provides the easiest way to upload pictures to TwitPic from your Windows Phone. To choose a picture for uploading, you can either launch the app and then choose from your library or take a new picture with the camera, or you find your picture in the Photos Hub and use the Extras menu to launch the app with the selected picture. Once you have a picture, you can choose to enter in a description for your picture. The photo and description are uploaded to TwitPic and used to send a tweet out to Twitter so all your followers can see your picture. This app authenticates directly with Twitter through their website, meaning you don't give your Twitter user name and password to anyone but Twitter. The app also supports multiple accounts so you can easily share pictures through multiple identities. This app was developed by Nick Gravelyn and is not developed or funded by TwitPic. Re: Sharing/Extras - Developers can only build apps integrating into the "extras" section, so I can't put the app under "share".
I've fixed a bug causing some crashes and added an option for resizing the image before upload which should make things faster for users.

Re: Sharing/Extras - Developers can only build apps integrating into the "extras" section, so I can't put the app under "share".
I've found a bug with sending images through the extras menu in Photos Hub. I'm going to be submitting an update to fix it soon. Until then, if you launch the app directly and choose a photo using the app itself, it should work.
I'm also adding a feature to resize images before uploading which will reduce data usage as well as make the uploads faster if you're willing to have smaller images. Currently all images are 1280x960 and the new options will add 960x720 and 640x480 as choices to resize to.
If you find other crashes or bugs, please report them using the app's feedback system. Thanks!

Re: Extras/Share in Photo Hub
Unfortunately apps can only register under the Extras section. If I could put the app in Share I definitely would. Thanks for trying out the app and the review!
Works as advertised. Instead of being in the "extras" section of the pictures hub, can you integrate under "share" instead? It would make more sense that way!
This was really slow sending a pic using WiFi. It was really slow and I got an error twice on trying to send two different pics
