It really keeps with the katamari gameplay and graphic style, but the controls relying on tilt are too sensitive at times and not enough during others.
What a wierd game. And I really don't care for the gfx style. Lame
I really love it, its a fun and interesting game very original but as everyone else says the controls are VERY difficult not a game you can just play while laying in bed my back hurts now ps 4 minutes is NOT enough time for a level!!
Control is difficult, but I get better every time... Doesn't seem like it would be worth $6
Meh controls reaaaaly need a tune up hope they fix it up
Story mode is too difficult with the horrible motion controls. This game turns from fun to annoying really quickly.
I'm a big fan of the Katamari series and even tho I saw all the negative comments I went intl this with an open mind but after spending a few minutes with this game i have to say people are right about the controls, they really ruin the entire thing for me.
Awesome game ruined by HORRIBLE controls. Sad :(
Love all katamari games but hate the controls. As other people have stated, virtual controls would have been nice.
Game needs better controls
Great game except for the high difficulty and controls. Steering by tilting works okay, but there's no reason they couldn't have offered virtual sticks too. The time limits are too strict, which doesn't help. Still, nice graphics, sound, & levels. Katanari fans who learn the controls won't be disappointed.
This game needs better controls.
Wish the controls were better. They make this game unenjoyable to play.
Price and controls could be better but I love this game!
The controls are difficult to get used to. I liked the console version quite a bit but this version frustrates me.
Not intuitive controls. Difficult to play which made it unenjoyaboe which is a shame because I love the console version.
Couldn't figure out in trial and uninstalled. but.... Then I reinstalled it gained patience and got better at the trial so then I bought it =) love it. Using the eternal mode to master the controls and become faster so I can beat story mode. ^_^ So much fun and great buy if u have the patience to learn the controls. Glad the game isn't dumbed down like most of the w7 games out the. I like games I can't beat within an hour. Feels like a waste of money
Controls are very awkward
TOO EXPENSIVE!!! Reduce the price to $2,99 and you will sell tons more
Great game, looks, sounds, feels just like the PS2 pretty funn. The only problem I had were the controls the tiliting is very hard to use and overall makes the game hard. If you think you can master it by all means id would say buy it.
Controls are a huge problem
Animates well, looks good, but the controls are ***.
Great game very easy to control
Tilt controls are lame. A virtual joypad would be better.
This game is amazing once you understand the controls. Price should go down, though
Well made game, once you master the controls its twice as much fun
I love me some katamari but this game requires an analog stick to play
Controls is the main thing.
Its really fun. Love how it sticks with the katamari style but the motion controls get used to. I bought this and it is wayyyyy over priced. It should be 5 dollars. Not to troll of course <3
Great game... motion control don't suck if ur a casual gamer u can make it no problem wish there was more levels tho
Drop the price!! Better tilt control plz?
Poorly calibrated tilt control. Incredible load times.
Love the graphics, petit version of an awesome game. Controls are not that hard. Price would be better a bit cheaper.
DROP.THE.PRICE. Seriously too expensive!
Very fun and addictive. controls are as all other katamari games, hard at first but when you master then you will not stop playing.....this is AWSOME....five star material Samsung Focus
There's a small icon with a red dot inside it that signifies which direction your going and an 180 degree turn button. Its really not that hard to use. Don't judge the game based on all these reviewers who played it for the two minute trial and didn't learn how to play.
Yeah the control is terrible. I tried to tilt the phone to rotate camera and it is not working. Should have top half as rotation and bottom half as straf.
Awesome
Didn't have to leave the PS2 at home, I love Katamari lives up to its reputation on Windows Phone 7. controls are easy to control takes little time to master.- Samsung Focus
I love this game. I thought this game was not going to be stable or pleasing. Beause of the reviews. But it lives to its standers. Fun, xbox quality. I love it.
Awful awful awful controls. I wanted to like this game for its campyness but as is its unplayable. One star until they fix these *** controls. Just because you can tilt doesn't mean you should.
Very, very, very disappointing.... The controls are so bad that they frustrate you to the point of not only never wanting to play the game ever again, but also make you want to break your phone. Why is it that the speed is so fast that its impossible to maneuver properly? Who designed this?! Please fix these controls, or risk losing every katamari fan that plays it.
Honestly, the game is fun. There are some control issues that they need to work out, but it's the Katamari we all love, bite size. Fun story and some challenging levels make this a good buy.
It's ok I guess need more levels
Tried the demo, all I can say is ***!
The controls suck regular katamari is way better
If you like Katamari games, you will like this. Crazy, zany Japanese goodness. Controls well. Quality game for a decent price. It is challenging and the visual style of the game is spot on.
Way too hard with the motion controls that are not very accurate. Really needs to give you a larger time limit.
This game would be a blast if the controls weren't so obtuse. I can't stand the inaccuracy of the motion sensor. Please add touch controls.
Horrible controls on HD7. Save your money until they update, if ever.
Using the tilt for control is terrible for this game. Won't purchase unless they incorporate another control option.

Didn't enjoy this game....at all
Excellent audio, decent video, controls take patience to learn. Worth the purchase.
Terrible controls.
Controls made playing the game too difficult. I love katamari personally, but this version does the franchise no justice.
I hate katamari.
The suck - should not even be allowed to be a free game
Bad controls. All levels should be unlocked at start. Incoming calls don't pause game!
Really wanted to like this, but like others the tilt control system was a bit off. I am used to other games in the franchise where its much easier to turn the camera to help point in the direction you want to go. Sadly in this version, I had a lot of trouble. More control options would be nice.
Tilt to move makes you dizzy. Tap to move hard. Should have tap-drag to move, a virtual joystick
Wow! What a total & utterly complete *** this game is! The controls are indeed ~abhorrent~ & essentially render this otherwise good looking, smooth running & great sounding game *unplayable*! Heartbreaking, given my love of this franchise. Really, I don't know how the devs could have played THIS & said, "oh yeah, this is good to go!" ... yes, it's _that_ insultingly poor. Why not let us just flick the katamari ball around?? "Played" on Samsung Focus :'(
